DETERMINING THE PRECONDITIONS FOR MANAGING TOURIST BUSINESS ENTERPRISES BASED ON CLUSTERIZATION PRINCIPLES

Abstract

The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of forming tourist clusters and the peculiarities of managing tourism businesses under clustering conditions. The concept of a tourist cluster, its components, and models of participant interaction are examined. The aim of the scientific article is a thorough analysis and determination of the prerequisites for managing tourism enterprises using clustering principles. The advantages of uniting tourism companies into clusters are identified. The life cycle of a tourist cluster and factors influencing its operational performance are analyzed. The relevance of developing principles and methods for managing tourism enterprises under cluster integration to enhance their competitiveness is substantiated. A conceptual model for forming a management system for a tourist cluster based on sustainable development principles and enhancing the competitiveness of participating tourism companies is proposed. This scientific article conducts an analysis of the prerequisites for managing tourism enterprises using clustering principles. Key aspects influencing the effectiveness of management in this sphere were identified as a result of the research. One of the main identified prerequisites is the necessity to create tourist clusters for businesses in this industry. Such an approach allows diverse companies and organizations to unite into a single ecosystem, thereby promoting interaction and resource exchange. Clustering contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises and ensures the sustainable development of the tourism business. It was also revealed that effective management of tourism businesses requires consideration of the geographic, cultural, and social specifics of the region in which they operate. Adapting management strategies to the characteristics of the local environment is a crucial prerequisite for success. Another integral component of effective management in the tourism business is the use of innovative technologies and marketing strategies. The development of online platforms, the implementation of digital tools, and the use of data analytics contribute to attracting new customers and improving service levels. In conclusion, the results of the research underscore the importance of implementing clustering principles in the management practices of tourism businesses. This approach allows for enhancing the competitiveness of the industry, ensuring sustainable development, and improving customer satisfaction. Therefore, the recommendations developed in this article can serve as a basis for further research in the field of managing tourism enterprises using a clustering approach.
