FEATURES OF ORGANIZING SHORT-TERM TRIPS FOR UKRAINIAN TOURISTS IN EUROPE

Abstract

The article discusses the peculiarities of organizing short-term trips of Ukrainian tourists to European countries. An analysis of the main factors influencing the popularity of such types of tours among Ukrainian tourists has been carried out. Particular attention is paid to the study of innovations on the border of Ukraine with the EU, which optimizes customs procedures for visitors to the region for tourism and business purposes. They consist in the implementation of the EES and ETIA systems in European countries, which should ensure accurate accounting of the time spent by third-country nationals in the countries of the region. This precautionary measure will allow Schengen countries to avoid abusing the visa-free regime. It is a means of security and reduces bureaucratic barriers on the way to intensifying tourism and business ties. The study identifies aspects of tourist offers of European countries for the organization of short trips. Recommendations have been developed to improve the quality of preparation of Ukrainian tourists for travel, an assessment of the prospects. Short-term tourist trips of Ukrainians abroad are an important component of international mobility and socio-cultural exchanges. The features of organising excursion activities during short-term trips are considered. However, they face a number of problems that require comprehensive research and solution. Among them are problems with visa requirements and border crossing, the impact of diversification of transport infrastructure on the increase in the number of short-term trips of Ukrainians to Europe, the impact of the economic situation in Ukraine (deflation, decline in incomes, fluctuations in the hryvnia exchange rate) on the ability of citizens to organize short-term trips to Europe, the impact of the war on the choice of tourist destinations for Ukrainians. Under these conditions, it is important to analyze how the structure and dynamics of tourist flows that encourage Ukrainians to travel in Europe are changing, as well as to find out the main factors that affect the choice of destination, duration of trips and their organization in conditions of economic and political instability.
