FORMATION OF THE ECOLOGICAL INVESTMENT POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURE
Abstract
The investment policy of agricultural development is aimed at strengthening the environmental investment potential of the industry as one of the main factors for the growth of agricultural production. The aim of the article is to study the influence of the investment policy of agricultural development on the formation of the natural environmental investment potential of the industry. Environmental security is one of the most important components of a country's national security, which affects its economic development and the social situation of the population of Ukraine. The investment policy of regional agricultural development, influencing the state authorities, directs efforts to improve the ecological situation as a factor determining the level of natural restoration of land resources, the quality of agricultural products and the possibility of living for the population in a particular territory. The investment policy of regional development of agriculture takes into account the results of scientific research in the formation of the system of environmental management, stabilization and improvement of the ecological state of the industry. The main objectives of the investment policy of regional agricultural development is the development of high-performance, ecological, safe, agro-industrial production; the creation of a highly competitive agricultural sector in the domestic and foreign markets; soil fertility; ensuring the effective use of irrigated and drained farmland; improving the efficiency and reliability of irrigation and drainage systems, as well as the rational use of water resources of the country. We draw attention to the fact that a high level of environmental risks in agriculture is the result of production activities of economic entities: their failure to comply with scientifically based land use rules, low level of implementation of environmentally friendly technologies, reduces the economic efficiency of agricultural production and creates a risk to human health. It has been established that the state does not allocate sufficient funds from the state budget for the restoration of land and water resources, which are the determining factors for the development of agriculture and its investment attractiveness. Our proposed measures aimed at the rational use of the natural investment potential can positively affect the improvement of the environmental safety of agriculture in the regions of Ukraine.
