Abstract

Digital technologies are playing an increasingly significant role across all spheres of contemporary life and substantially transforming organizational processes, corporate structures, and patterns of interaction between departments. The growing share of HR practices that are shifting into digital formats requires the development of new competencies among HR professionals, line managers, and employees in general. Digital transformation in human resource management is not limited to the automation of routine administrative tasks; it also encompasses strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and data-driven decision-making. This article provides an analysis of recent academic research and practical approaches to the digitalization of human resource management. Particular attention is devoted to the key trends shaping the development of HR technologies, as well as to the factors influencing their implementation, integration, and effective utilization within organizations. Based on scholarly literature and practical experience, the study examines the prospects for the advancement of digital HR systems, including the impact of automation tools, people analytics, electronic learning and development platforms, performance management systems, cloud-based HR solutions, and digital communication instruments that enhance collaboration and organizational flexibility. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the importance of adopting a comprehensive approach to HR digitalization, which incorporates technological, organizational, and social dimensions. Successful digital transformation requires strategic planning, leadership support, continuous professional development, and the alignment of digital initiatives with overall business objectives. The research highlights that sustainable implementation of digital HR technologies depends not only on technical infrastructure but also on organizational culture, change management practices, and employee readiness for innovation. It also underlines the strategic value of long-term digital HR transformation initiatives.
