ANALYSIS OF ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVENESS IN THE CONTEXT OF CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION

Abstract

This article offers a comprehensive analysis of the mechanisms for enhancing enterprise competitiveness within the context of cross-border cooperation, a matter of particular relevance for the Ukrainian economy amid ongoing military and geopolitical challenges. The study examines both theoretical foundations and practical strategies that enable enterprises to navigate a dynamic and often volatile competitive environment. Central attention is devoted to the identification and assessment of internal and external risk factors—such as market fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory uncertainties—that shape enterprise strategies and influence long-term organizational resilience. The research underscores the strategic significance of international economic interactions, including participation in joint projects, partnerships, and euroregional initiatives, as instruments for fostering favorable business conditions, facilitating knowledge transfer, and promoting innovation. Moreover, adaptive approaches such as relocation of production capacities, optimization of logistics networks, and technological modernization are analyzed as critical measures for enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of developing innovative management models and strategic frameworks that enable enterprises to identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities. It emphasizes proactive engagement with international networks, continuous monitoring of global economic trends, and the integration of advanced technologies to achieve sustainable growth. By combining strategic foresight with adaptive operational practices, enterprises are better positioned not only to withstand external shocks but also to strengthen their competitive standing within a rapidly evolving cross-border business landscape.
