THE LOGISTIC SYSTEM AS A BASIC DETERMINANT OF PROFIT FORMATION FOR ENTERPRISES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF POST-INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION OF INDUSTRY MARKETS

Abstract

The article is devoted to developing new scientific approaches to studying the impact of logistics systems on the formation of business profits in the context of post-industrial transformation, both for business entities and industry markets. The scientific and practical necessity of accelerating the transition to a post-industrial model of enterprise logistics systems development has been confirmed. A comparative assessment of enterprise logistics systems under industrial and post-industrial development models has been carried out based on the following criteria: purpose; focus areas; objects; subjects; emphasis; connection with profit; and contribution to profit generation. Based on a comparative assessment of the logistics systems of enterprises under industrial and post-industrial development models, a shift was identified in the level of interconnection between logistics systems and enterprise profits in the context of the post-industrial transformation of business entities and industry markets, where the logistics system serves as the foundation for profit generation. A new definition of the term "enterprise logistics system" has been formulated, taking into account the transition of the enterprise and industry markets to a post-industrial development model. In this context, a company’s logistics system is understood as the combination of both external and internal elements integrated into a single whole. Through their interaction, these elements manage and facilitate the physical movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods, as well as the flow of information and financial resources. This system operates based on proper personnel training, the use of innovations, and ESG management, all aimed at ensuring the company's sustainable long-term development by supporting or enhancing its competitiveness and generating adequate profit levels through the achievement of a positive synergistic effect from the interaction of the logistics system elements. The key components of enterprise logistics systems have been identified, taking into account the post-industrial transformation of industry markets. These components include: personnel, innovation, ESG indicators, digitalization, resilience, and the multidimensional connection to enterprise profitability. The study explores the complex relationship between logistics systems and company profits under the conditions of post-industrial transformation, considering both business entities and industry markets.
