MODERN ECOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THE WORK OF HOTEL ENTERPRISES IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to develop effective models and strategies for environmental activities of hotel enterprises that meet modern requirements for sustainable development and European standards, in order to promote the development of environmentally responsible business in Ukraine. The study is devoted to the study of innovative approaches to increasing the environmental efficiency of hotel enterprises in Ukraine. Increasing the environmental efficiency of hotels is becoming relevant not only due to the need to comply with international environmental standards, but also as a way to increase competitiveness in the market, create a positive image, and attract environmentally conscious tourists. The implementation of innovative environmental solutions will contribute not only to reducing operating costs, but also to increasing the quality of service and improving the image of hotels, which is an important factor in attracting foreign tourists and developing the tourist attractiveness of Ukraine. The work examines modern trends in the field of hotel business greening, analyzes the main problems of implementing environmental initiatives in the hotel business, and identifies promising directions for the use of the latest technologies and management solutions to reduce the negative impact on the environment. The domestic hotel business faces a number of problems in the field of implementing environmental innovations, such as a low level of environmental culture, limited financial capabilities, and insufficient regulatory framework. Scientifically based recommendations on the implementation of energy-efficient solutions, resource management systems and green standards have been developed, which take into account the specifics of the hotel industry in Ukraine. The practical significance of the study lies in the formation of environmental management strategies that allow reducing operating costs, increasing the environmental responsibility of enterprises and ensuring their competitiveness on the domestic and international markets. The results of the research can be used both by hotel enterprises and within the framework of state programs for greening the tourism industry of Ukraine.
