STANDARDIZATION AS A FACTOR IN THE INNOVATION STRATEGY OF MODERN BUSINESS

Abstract

In the context of modern globalization and rapid technological progress, business success depends on the ability of companies to adapt to changes and implement innovations. Standardization plays a key role in this process, as it creates a basis for consistency, efficiency and the implementation of new technologies. The increasing importance of standards in business is associated with several factors: acceleration of innovation processes - uniform standards allow companies to integrate new technologies faster, reducing development and implementation costs; harmonization of international markets - thanks to standards, companies can more easily enter foreign markets, reducing barriers to trade and simplifying cooperation; competitiveness - organizations that adhere to standards gain competitive advantages, as their products or services meet consumer expectations and regulatory requirements; ensuring sustainable development - unification of technologies through standards contributes to sustainable development, as it allows companies to optimize the use of resources and implement environmentally friendly solutions. An innovative business strategy today is impossible without taking into account the role of standards in such aspects as digitalization, the introduction of new production methods, automation or the development of artificial intelligence. In addition, standardization acts as a catalyst for cooperation between business, scientific institutions and government organizations. It provides clear rules of the game, which contributes to the transparency and efficiency of the implementation of innovative projects. The topic of standardization as a factor in innovation strategy is relevant because it provides the basis for sustainable business development, integration of innovations, and increased competitiveness in a dynamic global environment. The article examines the concepts of standardization and voluntary certification in modern business, their impact on business development. The main goals and objectives of international standardization are revealed.
