EDUCATIONAL AGRITOURISM AS A TOOL FOR HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article examines the educational potential of agritourism and its role in human capital development. It is demonstrated that agritourism enterprises can serve not only as places for educational and practical interaction with the rural environment but also as learning environments where practical skills are developed, hands-on experience is gained, and essential competencies are acquired. The study summarizes theoretical approaches to educationally oriented agritourism and analyzes international experience in using agritourism enterprises as educational and practice-based learning environments. A model of educational agritourism as a tool for human capital development is proposed, identifying the key stakeholders involved in its implementation, sources of financial support, and approaches to evaluating its effectiveness. It is substantiated that the implementation of educational and experiential programs in agritourism contributes to human capital development, expands the functional capacity of agritourism enterprises, and supports the sustainable development of rural areas.
